Guess my 6th favorite Christmas movie from this screenshot of the film. For an extra challenge, the quote from the blog title is now a quote from the previous day’s movie or special, not the current day, so you only have the screenshot to go by. Holiday Interview

So with a post title of “Bah humbug!”, it’s only fitting that we interview my boss, Brent.

[13:15] Hobbes8u: How’s about a good old fashioned holiday interview?
[13:17] Brent: lets rock and roll.
[13:17] Hobbes8u: excellent. Let’s get the usuals out of the way.
[13:18] Brent: My name is Brent Robert Berrett, and I am a christmas hater.
[13:18] Hobbes8u: Yeah? What is you favorite Christmas cuss word?
[13:20] Brent: Happy Birthday Jesus! I can say that around my house or I get in trouble for not respecting His name. Yet on Christmas eve my wife bakes a carrot cake and we sing happy birthday to Jesus.
[13:21] Hobbes8u: My grandmother does the same thing. I thought we were the only one.
[13:22] Brent: Its good to hear that there are other nuts out there besides my wife.
[13:22] Hobbes8u: indeed
[13:22] Hobbes8u: What was your favorite childhood Christmas present?
[13:23] Brent: I got a record player with a Gatlin Brothers record. To this day, I still do not know who the Gatlin Brothers are.
[13:24] Hobbes8u: But the record player was awesome?
[13:26] Brent: sure. i dont think that I really used it all that much. the times I did play the record, i was more entertained with jumping up and down and making the player skip. I wish I still had it. I could have become a radical DJ. Please refer to me during the rest of this interview as DJ Bob.
[13:27] Hobbes8u: uh okay DJ Bob…Complete this sentence. Reindeer would be better used as…
[13:27] Brent: dog food.
[13:28] Hobbes8u: ouch
[13:28] Hobbes8u: What is the nicest thing anyone has every done for you during the holidays?
[13:28] Brent: well, there was a hooker, Jack Daniels, and a pole…..
[13:30] Brent: My friend, Ron McCarty, took me to a Jazz game on Cristmas day. I believe it was in the year 1997 after the death of Jesus.
[13:30] Brent: HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!
[13:31] Hobbes8u: I see. ha ha I realize this isn’t a holday question but I’m sure our readers would be interested to know the last movie that made you cry?
[13:34] Brent: Well, someone threw water in my eyes when I was watching The Bridge to Terabithia. I pretty much choke up during all movies including kids that die. Or any other movie that I can relate to my relationship with my kids.
[13:35] Hobbes8u: Well if one thing comes across about you besides people thinking you are insane and possibly homocidal is that you love your kids very much and are a very good father. I think it’s very cool with all the crap dads out there.
[13:35] Hobbes8u: If you were Santa Claus how would things change?
[13:37] Brent: i would give the world piece for christmas. Or i would end global warming. We are melting the north pole at an alarming rate. Where is santa going to live if the north pole is no more?
[13:38] Brent: I wouldnt make a good santa. I would turn into a grinch and only give presents to the bad girls.
[13:38] Hobbes8u: I see
[13:38] Hobbes8u: good times then
[13:38] Hobbes8u: Any last holiday thoughts for our readers?
[13:41] Brent: i dont know any Futurama quotes, and Bad Santa quotes aren’t family rated. So I will end with a quote from Michael.
“Christmas is awesome. First of all you get to spend time with people you love. Secondly, you can get drunk and no one can say anything. Third, you give presents. What’s better than giving presents? And fourth, getting presents. So four things. Not bad for one day. It’s really the greatest day of all time.”

Seven-Layer Salad Recipe (Mainly for Marci)

We often make this salad during the holidays. It’s one of my favorites.

4 cups lettuce, chopped
1/2 cup green onions, chopped
1 pkg frozen peas, thawed
Dressing:
(2 cups mayonnaise
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper)
Cheese, grated
Bacon, fried, drained, and crumbled

Layer the salad in this order and refrigerate for at least eight hours. (NOTE: normally there is green peppers, which is the seventh layer, but ewwww. Also I like to add more dressing, cheese and bacon. Obviously if you’ve seen me you’d know why)
